The Capsule was the first deep-sea science station built on a ledge above Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench. Remi, an ambitious journalist, and her devil-may-care cameraman, Charlie, accompany a team of scientists for an inaugural thirty-day expedition to The Capsule.

What Remi assumed would be an uneventful trip to the bottom of the ocean takes a dangerous turn when the team picks up anomalous readings from the abyss below them. With life-threatening danger lurking outside and a series of suspicious system malfunctions inside, Remi and the team must find a way to escape The Capsule before it’s too late.

Vantablack

A nerd, a goddess, and a lowlife walk into a bar…

Renn, a book-smart loner who has never traveled outside his solar system, receives a cryptic message from his father, a deep-space cartographer, who disappeared during an exploratory mission 14 years ago. The message hasn’t been sent using the typical quantum communication system. It’s an electromagnetic wave signal and thanks to his father’s strange obsession with ancient, obsolete gadgets, the old radio in Renn’s closet is still functional enough to receive it. The message is a warning, broadcasting from a dark, uncharted sector of the universe. Renn is convinced if he traces the signal he will find his father. But without a ship, he’ll have to find a captain crazy enough to chase ghosts with him.

Eefah, worshipped as a goddess alongside her twin sister, has been stuck on a backwater planet for nearly a millennia. All she wants is to find a way to ascend to be with her people and their mother even though she’s not supposed to ascend until she reaches her thousandth birthday. After centuries of searching, she thinks she’s found a portal that will send her home, but she’ll have to find a way off the planet and hitch a ride with whichever starship captain is willing to help her in her quest to go home.

Zale, captain of the Vantablack, has been stuck at Xiox space station for months. His ship is out of fuel and he spent his last credits on a pack of instameals. In his desperation for money, he agrees to take Renn to the coordinates where his father’s message originated while simultaneously promising Eefah to fly her around in search of her ascension portal.

Though they are strangers, the three of them find themselves bound together by fate and evil that threatens to end all things.
